CURABLE RESIN COMPOSITION FOR TRANSPARENT SEALING, RESIN-SEALED LIGHT-EMITTING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device sealed with a resin having a high refractive index and excellent visible light transmittance and enhancing the takeout efficiency of light from that of conventional devices, to provide a method for producing the device and to provide a resin composition therefor.

SOLUTION: The curable resin composition for transparent sealing of the light-emitting device comprises a dielectric crystal micro-particle obtained by crystallizing a metal oxide in a glass matrix and then removing the glass matrix component and having 5-50 nm average primary particle diameter and at least one kind of curable resin selected from an epoxy resin and a curable silicone resin. The resin-sealed light-emitting device is obtained by sealing with the resin composition.
