PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make smaller in size and lower in cost an X-ray high voltage device having a function of dropping a voltage applied between the anode and the cathode of an X-ray tube at high speed by making smaller a driving circuit for driving semiconductor switches which form high voltage switches.
SOLUTION: In this X-ray high voltage device, an AC voltage of an AC power source is boosted with a high voltage transformer, and the boosted AC voltage is converted to a DC high voltage with a high-voltage rectifier, then the converted DC high voltage is smoothed with high-voltage capacitors and supplied to an X-ray tube. Semiconductor high-voltage switches make discharge an electric charge energy stored in the high-voltage capacitors while the irradiation of X-rays from the X-ray tube is stopped. A DC voltage of a controlling power source circuit 23 is charged to a first capacitor 1b by closing first switches 3b1, 3b2 while X-rays from the X-ray tube are irradiated, and a voltage of the first capacitor is charged to second capacitors 1c1, 1c2 by closing second switches 3g1-3g4 while an electric charge energy stored in a high-voltage capacitor is discharged after the irradiation of X-rays is stopped, and the charged voltage is applied to a conduction controlling unit for the semiconductors of the high-voltage switches.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
