<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the excessive consumption of sheets or toner or the like when setting the color reproduction mode of a print data generation device in which a plurality of color conversion tables are stored. <P>SOLUTION: A color conversion information storage part 3040 stores a plurality of pieces of color conversion information, and a mode shift detection part 3030 detects shift to an image conversion mode, and an image conversion processing part 3060 generates a plurality of printer characteristic images based on each of a plurality of pieces of color conversion information stored in the color conversion information storage part 3040 from accepted plotting data, and a monitor image conversion processing part 3080 converts the plurality of printer characteristic images into a plurality of monitor characteristics images which can be displayed on a monitor 7000 for display, and an input part 6000 selects the specific monitor characteristic image from among the plurality of monitor characteristic images displayed on the monitor 7000. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
