<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid an event that a large current flows at braking operation in a brake controller having a plurality of solenoid valves. <P>SOLUTION: The brake controller 20 gives braking forces to wheels provided at a vehicle according to the braking operation by a driver. The brake controller 20 is provided with the plurality of solenoid valves provided in a flow passage of an operation fluid; and a brake ECU 70 for controlling currents fed to the plurality of solenoid valves. The brake ECU 70 performs control for switching it to a retaining current having a lower current value than an activation current after the activation current is fed relative to each of the plurality of solenoid valves, and after it switches the current fed to one solenoid valve from the activation current to the retaining current, it starts the feeding of the activation current relative to the subsequent solenoid valve. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
