PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calling method and interphone system in which a visitor can be accurately and surely recognized and ring tones can be used for advertisement and propaganda. SOLUTION: In a calling system S, on the assumption that sound data capable of preidentifying an entrepreneur such as a home delivery entrepreneur or delivery entrepreneur who visits a house as a business are registered in a server device 300 beforehand, the sound data capable of identifying the relevant entrepreneur can be used as ring tones when the enterpriser visits a house. At the same time, not only a visitor such as a friend or acquaintance who can be identified beforehand but also an entrepreneur who visits a house as a business can also be identified from the ring tones.
