PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oven diaphragm which has a high rigidity and an appropriate internal loss and makes full range reproduction available as a speaker diaphragm used for acoustic equipment. SOLUTION: The speaker diaphragm 1 is made by paper-making a pulp material by a paper-making metal mold whose shape is set up in advance, and then drying it pressing a central part while not pressing the other part to let that part have a thickness. The speaker diaphragm 1 thus fabricated consists of: a portion having a thickness, and therefore having a high rigidity and an appropriate internal loss due to the thickness of the diaphragm itself; and a portion near the center of the diaphragm which is pressed to improve the density, for wide band reproduction. By this structure, a full range reproduction capability is achieved in addition to high rigidity and appropriate internal loss indispensable for the speaker diaphragm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
