PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive deflector-type ball screw having improved reliability while improving the rigidity of arms on a deflector member and securing the positioning accuracy and fixing force of the deflector member relative to a nut. SOLUTION: The deflector-type ball screw comprises the deflector member 5 fitted to a deflector window 6 formed in a shell portion of the nut 3 and having a connection groove 5a using a rolling passage as a circuit. The deflector window 6 has an approximately circular cross section, and the deflector member 5 has an approximately circular cross section formed corresponding thereto with MIM of a sintered alloy. The pair of arms 9 are protruded on both sides of the deflector member 5, and ribs 9a are formed on both sides of the arms 9 extending along the axial direction and hung over in an annular space formed between the nut 3 and a screw shaft 2 to contact a land portion 3b of the nut 3. This improves the rigidity of the arms 9 on the deflector member 5 and sufficiently secures the positioning accuracy and fixing force of the deflector member 5 relative to the nut 3.
