PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrying chain capable of eliminating the labor of the replacing work of links. SOLUTION: This carrying chain 1 is constituted by connecting a large number of links 2 and 2 to one another by a pivoting means such as a pin. The links 2 comprise a rectangular bar-shaped base body 3, pivoting holes 4 as the pivoting means formed at longitudinal both ends of the base body 3 and pivoting the adjacent base bodies 3 each other, and a metallic plate 5 formed in a shape of covering one side surface of the base bodies 3, detachably fixed to the one side surface by screw-fastening and contacting with a carrying object. A plurality of V-shaped grooves 10 are curved on the whole in longitudinal two directions of the 45-degree direction and the 135-degree direction on the contact surface side with the carrying object in the plate 5 so as to intersect with the carrying direction.
