PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caster connecting device having a simple structure and capable of forming a carrying device capable of easily and comfortably riding over steps by mounting the caster connecting device to the carrying device. SOLUTION: This caster connecting device is provided with a main body frame mounting part 2 mounted to a main body frame 8, a caster mounting part 3 to which the caster 9 is mounted, a hinge part 4 rotatably connecting the main body frame mounting part 2 to the caster mounting part 3, and a return spring 5 energizing the main body frame mounting part 2 and the caster mounting part 3 so as to reduce an angle between the main body frame mounting part 2 and the caster mounting part 3.
