PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light or radiation detecting device capable of reducing the input of high frequency noise to a sample and hold circuit, raising an S/N, and obtaining a high definition image, and to provide a light or radiation imaging apparatus. SOLUTION: The light or radiation detecting device includes a second low-pass filter 35 which is arranged between a signal amplifier circuit 32 and the sample and hold circuit 33 and also just before the sample and hold circuit 33, so as to limit the passage of the high frequency noise only with the use of a passive element. The second low-pass filter 35 limits the passage of the high frequency noise generated in the signal amplifier circuit 32. Besides, the second low-pass filter 35 is constituted only with the passive element, so that the high frequency noise is not generated from the second low-pass filter 35 itself.
