PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both cushioning properties and shape-retaining properties for firmly supporting the head of a seated person when the head is rested, with a simple structure. SOLUTION: The headrest H of the chair is composed of a head support part 5 for supporting the head of the seated person. The head support part 5 has a core in the shape of a curved face with the shape-retaining properties as an element, and a defective part 51 is formed in a prescribed part of the core 5 to reinforce the flexibility and deformability.
