<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stability display method and a stability display device capable of recognizing the stability of colors in processes preceding to printing to obtain a correct printed matter. <P>SOLUTION: The stability display device performs a printing process for printing an image having a plurality of different dot percents in a state that a printing condition comprising at least one of a printer, a dot pattern, a printing paper and ink is changed, a profile creating process for creating a profile displaying the stability of printing in a relation between each printing condition and each dot percent by measuring an image of a printed matter obtained in the printing process, an arithmetic operation process for obtaining the stability of printing for every color area of the image to be printed from the image data of an image to be printed and a print condition at the time of the execution of printing and the profile, and a display process for displaying on a screen the stability of printing for every color area of images to be printed obtained in the arithmetic operation process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
