<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for enabling operation data related to a jackpot to be properly managed by distinguishing a normal jackpot from a jackpot without a ball discharge. <P>SOLUTION: This management system receives a jackpot signal commonly indicating the generation periods of a plurality of kinds of jackpots including the jackpot without the ball discharge which is generated on a game machine, and an operation signal indicating the operating situation of the game machine, and manages the operation situation of the game machine during the generation period of the jackpot based on the received jackpot signal and the operation signal. The management system is equipped with a storage means, an updating means, and a judging means. In this case, the storage means stores operation information of the game machine during the generation period of the jackpot. The updating means updates the operation information stored in the storage means based on the operation signal in the generation period of the jackpot. The judgment means judges whether the generation period of the jackpot being indicated by the jackpot signal is the generation period of the jackpot without the ball discharge or not.
