PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a canned motor pump for improving a potting structure of a motor in a canned motor pump, mitigating a thermal expansion in a wide range between a low temperature below zero and a high temperature of 120°C, and used for a long time. SOLUTION: A buffer 11 is provided in the center of a gap 10a between adjacent coils 10, 10 among a plurality of the coils 10 annularly disposed as the stator 4 of the motor 2 in the canned motor pump 1, and is thinner than the gap 10a. The buffer 11 is a cavity 11a or a sponge 11b. If the buffer 11 is the sponge; preferably, a silicone sponge 11b having independent air bubbles is inserted. A potting material 9 made of a silicone rubber, is filled into a periphery of the buffer 11, and cured. The dew condensation of the motor 2 is prevented in the canned motor pump 1 by the potting material 9. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
