DRIVE CONTROLLER AND DRIVING CONTROL METHOD OF DATA RELAY ANTENNA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive controller and a drive control method of a data relay antenna, wherein it is mounted on a mobile body such as an airplane or an automobile, a priority order of a communication for each ground station or mobile station is automatically determined according to an antenna directional angle error obtained in accordance with a position/speed of the mobile body, an attitude angle/angular velocity, positions of each ground station or mobile station, an electric wave reception intensity and the like, while an antenna switching and an antenna direction control are carried out, whereby a relay of image data or the like can efficiently be executed between a plurality of ground stations and/or mobile stations such as the ground station on the ground or the mobile station moving around. SOLUTION: The drive controller of the data relay antenna is mounted on the mobile body for executing a data communication between the ground stations, the mobile stations or the ground station and the mobile station. In the drive controller, an antenna direction station allocation and priority order decision device 41 optimizes the necessity of switching mounting antennas 81to 8nfor use in communication based on a mobile body position/speed detection signal 10, a mobile body attitude angle/angular velocity detection signal 11, and a ground station/mobile body position calculation signal 12, and an antenna drive control command calculator 42 uses a reception electric wave intensity receiving by the mounting antenna and corrects an antenna directional angle, thereby minimizing a detection error of a mobile body position/speed detector 1 and a mobile body attitude angle/angular velocity detector 2 which are mounted. Thus, a data communication disconnection time caused by the antenna switching is minimized, whereas a data relay with a high performance is made possible. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
