<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heuristic method and a computer program, easily detecting whether a Web site is genuine or forged. <P>SOLUTION: Information related to the Web site to which a browsing request is made is acquired so as to detect whether the Web site to which the browsing is requested is a genuine site or a forged site of the genuine site. It is checked whether the information corresponds to prescribed check items or not, a result thereof is rated into score, the score is compared with a numerical value obtained by previously grading presence/absence of the correspondence of the check items about the genuine site, and it is decided whether the Web site required with the browsing is genuine or forged.
