PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press-working method for bending a material so as to have a bottom portion and a wall portion and bending the bottom portion of the material in a cicular-arc surface, by which the end of a wall portion of a material need not be machined while suppressing a waving state of the wall portion of the material. SOLUTION: When bending a bottom portion 11a of a material 11 in an arc surface, extension of an end of a wall portion 11b of the material 11 along inner and outer dies 18, 19 is permitted while regulating the change of the thickness of the wall portion 11b of the material 11 by the inner and outer dies 18, 19. The end of the wall portion 11b of the material 11 is cut out in a cutting-out step so that the end of the wall portion 11b of the material 11 has a predetermined shape by the extension of the end of the wall portion 11b of the material 11.
