PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information terminal device which is equipped with a VICS function that enables the information terminal device to receive information from a broadcasting station that is the best in a reception context in a running vehicle. SOLUTION: The information terminal device 1 is equipped with a navigation means that specifies the current position of a vehicle and a road traffic information receiving means 15 that receives road traffic information through broadcasting. The road traffic information receiving means 15 sets broadcasting stations which are located in a service area where the vehicle is located as a target station for tuning, and carries out a tuning operation every prescribed time for selecting a broadcasting station best in a reception context on the basis of a distance between the moving vehicle and the broadcasting station.
