PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate recovery speed from interruption of power supply capable of providing an internal memory for remaining the internal state of semiconductor circuit device even without providing external memory, wherein the additional circuit can be eliminated, and the data stored in the internal memory can be reset in the flip-flop circuit. SOLUTION: The semiconductor integrated circuit comprises: an internal logic circuit ; a first memory; a second memory; and a control circuit. The internal logic circuit part comprises scan chain for testing the normality of the circuit. The first memory is accessed by the internal logic circuit. The second memory stores valid bit showing the efficacy stored in the first memory relating with the first memory. The control circuit stores the internal state data kept in the scan chain and re-sets the internal state data stored in the first memory into the scan chain. After the internal state data is stored in the first memory, the power supply to the internal logic circuit is stopped while continuing the electric supply to the first memory and second memory. When the electric supply of the internal logic circuit is presumed, the internal state data stored in the first memory is re-set in the scan chain. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
