摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and accurately control air fuel ratio of each cylinder in relation to air fuel ratio control device for an internal combustion engine including a plurality of cylinders. SOLUTION: Cylinder pressure at each crank angle of each cylinder is detected during execution of fuel cut (step 102), and maximum cylinder pressure P<SB>max</SB>equivalent to compression top dead center pressure during motoring is acquired for each cylinder (step 104) by searching the maximum value of cylinder pressure at each crank angle. Average value P<SB>maxmean</SB>of the maximum cylinder pressure P<SB>max</SB>(i) of all cylinder is calculated (step 106). Fuel injection quantity correction coefficientα(i) for distributing target injection quantity in relation to the internal combustion engine whole body based on ratio of the maximum cylinder pressure among cylinders are calculated based on a formulaα(i)=P<SB>max</SB>(i)/P<SB>maxmean</SB>(step 108).
