METHOD FOR DIAGNOSIS OF CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for easy, objective and accurate estimation of the contraction of a subject to chronic fatigue syndrome. SOLUTION: The contraction of a subject to chronic fatigue syndrome is diagnosed by using a messenger RNA derived from the peripheral blood of the subject and judging the contraction based on the expression analysis result of either one of selected marker genes. The diagnosis of chronic fatigue syndrome is easily performed by the use of a small amount of peripheral blood. The vital functions can be multilaterally grasped from multiple RNA expression levels.
