PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring the amount of hyaluronic acid in a specimen by an enzymatic method simply. SOLUTION: This method for measuring the amount of the hyaluronic acid in the specimen comprises to subject the specimen under a decomposition reaction by a hyaluronic acid lyase capable of decomposing the hyaluronic acid to disaccharides, to subject the obtained reaction mixture under an oxidation reaction by an N-acylhexosamine oxidase, and to perform a color-developing reaction by hydrogen peroxide produced thereby.
