Exhaust gas system`s temperature determining method for internal-combustion engine of motor vehicle, involves separately computing contributions arrived in energy balancing during modeling of temperature in exhaust gas system

The method involves calculating temperature and/or temperature sequence of an exhaust gas in an exhaust gas system of an internal-combustion engine (1) from energy balancing based on an operating parameter. Contributions arrived in the energy balancing are computed separately during the modeling of the temperature. Calculated and/or existing operating intermediate parameters are included in a control equipment (100), during the modeling of the temperature. A modular computation of the partial contributions is accomplished for energy balancing, during the modeling of the temperature.
