A clamp comprises a baseplate 11 formed with a part-cylindrical recess 5 in which is located a member 6, the latter being shaped on one side to fit the recess and having its opposite side flat. The member 6 is formed with a slot 7 so that by loosening a screw 9, the vertical position of member 6, and hence its angular disposition with respect to the baseplate, are adjustable. A gripping member 4 is bolted to the baseplate and, together with the latter, defines a rectangular opening, Fig. 2 (not shown). Iron hoops 1, welded to the baseplate, are adapted to be embedded in a horizontal balcony platform, and the member 6 can then be adjusted so that a balcony wall component 3, secured by the clamp, is vertical. |
