<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for producing a reduced metal with which the reduced metal can profitably be produced from a metal-containing raw material having a low content ratio of metal. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for producing the reduced metal, raw material mixture containing a metal-containing material and solid reduction material is directly charged on a furnace hearth horizontally moved in a moving type hearth furnace or through a solid reduction material layer, and during moving the furnace hearth in the furnace, the raw material mixture is heated and reduced, wherein as the mixed raw material, it is preferable that both of granulated raw material and fine powdery raw material containing metal oxide having different kind with the granulated raw material, are used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
