<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform the recording of information on the pile of electrolytic copper, operation for sorting electrolytic copper, and the management of the piles needed when the electrolytic copper is temporarily placed by saving labor needed for these operations. <P>SOLUTION: In a step of carrying out a plurality of produced electrolytic copper 1 units in a form of a pile 4 in a stacked state, the information on the pile 4 is easily inputted automatically or remotely for each pile 4 of the electrolytic copper 1. Before the pile 4 is carried out, the information on the pile 4 is collected in a computer 10. By using the information on the pile 4 collected in the computer 10, the pile 4 is sorted in a required shipping unit before carried out from the step. A large number of the sorted piles 4 are temporarily placed on a temporary stockyard 18.
