<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diameter-expansion holding material that can easily make an external peripheral side engaging piece and an internal peripheral side engaging piece engage with each other, when winding them into a spiral shape, and is improved in the stability of dimension, when they are formed into rigid cylindrical bodies. <P>SOLUTION: This cylindrical rubber unit diameter-expansion material is constituted, such that the external peripheral side engagement piece 3G is formed on one side face of a string 2, having a substantially rectangular shape, and the internal peripheral side engagement piece 3N is formed on the other side face. In the diameter-expansion material, the hang-out length of an external peripheral side hang-out part 4G is set larger than the hang-out length of an internal peripheral side hang-out part 4N; a clearance is formed between an outwardly-protruding protrusive piece 5N and the string 2 that is adjacent to it, when the external peripheral side engaging piece 3G and the internal peripheral side engagement piece 3N are engaged with each other by being wound ingo a spiral shape, and a clearance is not formed between an inwardly-protruding protrusive piece 5G and the string 2 adjacent to it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
