<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant work support system, capable of rapidly taking a maintenance measure for a malfunctioning facility in a plant. <P>SOLUTION: This system comprises a controller 22 for monitoring and controlling a facility 1 of the plant, an operation table 3 for monitoring and controlling control data therefrom, and a remote work support device 10 connected with the operation table 3, the remote work support device 10 being communicable with a portable information terminal 5 by an antenna 7 provided around the facility through a communication network 4. The remote work support device 10 includes a failure information delivery means 11 for delivering failure information of the facility 1 to the portable information terminal 5, and a failure information retrieval means 15 for reading information of a failure information database in response to a request from the portable information terminal 5. The failure information delivery means 11 includes a terminal position search part 12 for searching the location of the portable information terminal 5, an information delivery part 13 for reporting failure occurrence information of the facility of the plant to the searched portable information terminal 5, and a failure response receiving part 14 receiving a failure responding state from the portable information terminal 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
