<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secure remote access system for improving user-friendliness by using a storage device having a built-in tamper resistance device as a user authentication device in the secure remote access system in which a user accesses a server from an unspecified client to perform a task while performing encrypted communication. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a server/client system in which the storage device having an authenticated tamper resistance device is distributed to the user, the user connects the storage device to the unspecified client, and the server is remotely operated by using authentication information in the storage device and an application. Thus, it is possible to provide the remote access system which can improve the user-friendliness to accordingly seamlessly utilize a task performing function inside and outside a workplace, and improves security and the user-friendliness when the user uses the client by reducing confidential information remaining in the operated client. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
