<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing polysaccharides, by which the polysaccharides can simply be extracted in a few processes at a lowered viscosity as much as possible to improve workability. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the polysaccharides comprises extracting a raw material in which the polysaccharides are wholly distributed, such as Corchorus olitorius, Basella rubra, Abelmoschus esculentus Moench, or Dioscorea batatas, with a 40 to 80 %W/V ammonium sulfate aqueous solution. The obtained polysaccharides can re-extracted and then subjected to a desalting treatment to fractionate the polysaccharides. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
