<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency treating implement for an endoscope for which the projection length in use of a high frequency electrode from the distal end of a flexible tube can be arbitrarily adjusted without pulling out the high frequency treating implement from the treating implement insertion channel of the endoscope every time by simple and low-cost constitution. <P>SOLUTION: By fitting a caulking pipe 4 of an outer diameter size to be interpolated to the flexible tube 1 near the distal end of an operation wire 2 and deforming the caulking pipe 4 by caulking work from the outer surface side, the caulking pipe 4 is fixed to the operation wire 2. Simultaneously, a part 4a of an increased outer diameter by the deformation of the caulking pipe 4 is brought into press contact with the inner peripheral surface of the flexible tube 1, and frictional resistance accompanying that is generated between the caulking pipe 4 and the inner peripheral surface of the flexible tube 1. By operating the operation wire 2 back and forth from the proximal end side, the high frequency electrode 3 is made to stand still at an optional position projected or recessed from the distal end of the flexible tube 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
