<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus for an image including a character, line drawing, and a color image; and to provide an image processing method, an information processor, a program, and a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus 10 comprises: an original determining part 40 for processing original data including the character and the color image so as to determine that the original data are the data including the color image close to the character; and a compression processor 44 for performing compression processing respectively differently with respect to binary image data and color image data, and generating binary compression data and color compression data. The compression processor 44 comprises: a binarization processor 48 for generating the binary image data corresponding to the character area of the original data; and a color area determining part 52 for including the color determining value of the color image, and generating the color image data corresponding to the pixel position of the color image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
