PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a porous sheet which is excellent in surface smoothness and air permeability and can be manufactured as a continuous long porous sheet, and the porous sheet obtained thereby. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the porous sheet comprises a process for preparing a dispersion wherein an ultrahigh-molecular weight polyethylene particles are dispersed in a solvent, a process for forming a coating layer by coating a film with the dispersion, and a process for baking the coating layer.
