PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive force control device for a vehicle for controlling deceleration control according to feeling of a driver with respect to responsiveness to the deceleration, in the drive force control device for the vehicle which performs the deceleration control in order to drive under driving environment, based on the appropriate deceleration, in response to the deceleration intention of the driver. SOLUTION: The device is equipped with a means to detect the driving environment for the vehicle, a means to obtain the deceleration suitable for the vehicle as setting deceleration in order to drive under the driving environment (S101), a means to detect the deceleration intention of the driver (S104), and a means to control the drive force for the vehicle based on the above setting deceleration when the deceleration intention of the driver is detected (S108), compared with normal time set in advance, when the setting deceleration is larger, and is controlled so that the deceleration occurs earlier for the above vehicle than in the normal time (S107).
