PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyboard device which is effectively used for an electronic information terminal, such as a handy PC or a smartphone, and is capable of key input simply and reliably even when a prescribed key position is made a home position only with a thumb, for example, and many surrounding keys are within an operation coverage. SOLUTION: From each of home position keys "D" 11L and "K" 11R provided with dot like projections 12LP and 12 RP in the center of each key coverage with right and left thumbs on a keyboard panel 10 to each surrounding adjacent key top with only one key apart, keys are horizontal with identical heights. Each surrounding key top outwardly apart for one key with two key spaced between keys is a slant key slanted in the direction of the home position. Each slant key spaced for two keys from the home position is operated horizontally without requiring depression operation, touch type input can easily be performed by touching on each key top surface slanted in the direction of the home position.
