PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator, which can shorten its jumper wire bridged between coil parts, and also can be arranged easily, and a brushless motor. SOLUTION: A first insulator 20 includes an extension 23 where the cover end face 21a of an annular cover 21 is axially extended toward the opposite side from an end frame. The extension 23 includes a plurality of cuts 24a and 24m which extend toward the base end from the tip in its extensional direction. The jumper wire 41a between a coil part U1 and a coil part U4 is positioned axially at the bottom face 25a of the first cut 24a and the bottom face 25b of the second cut 24m, and also it is positioned in its circumferential direction by the flank 26a of the first cut 24a and the flank 26b of the second cut 24m.
