摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a measuring resolution and to eliminate a measuring error to detect precisely a flow rate. SOLUTION: This weir type flowmeter 21 is provided with a pressure sensor part 23 for detecting water pressure of a fluid flowing through a weir water channel 3 with at least one part of a water channel dammed up by a weir plate 5, and a control computation part 25 for computing the flow rate of the fluid flowing through the weir water channel 3, based on the water pressure detected by the pressure sensor 23, is installed in an inside of the weir water channel 3, is installed to position the pressure sensor 23 in a zero flow fate position of the weir plate 5, and detects only an overflow head of the weir plate 5. The control computation part 25 is provided with a flow rate computing means built in with a flow rate operation expression capable of coping with weir shapes including at least any of a triangular weir, a square weir and a full width weir, and computes an approximate flow rate corresponding to the plurality of weir shapes by the single weir type flowmeter, by inputting a weir parameter determined in every of the weir shapes.
