PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a labeling device capable of coupling and locking a label issuing section and a label sticking section firmly by a simple structure in the labeling device in which the label issuing section and the label sticking section are relatively attached so as to be openable and closable. SOLUTION: The labeling device comprises the label issuing section A1 holding a label roll and a sticking section A2 sticking a label issued from the label issuing section on articles are arranged adjacently, and the label issuing section and the sticking section are relatively openable and closable. A striker 10 is provided at one side of the above label issuing section A1 or the sticking section A2. A turnable latch 11 and the latching plate 12 engaged with or disengaged from the striker on the other side are provided. The operating section 13 for operating the engagement/disengagement of the above striker and the latch is provided outside the member in which the latch is arranged.
