PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the originality of a manuscript to be kept by using an information code being added to image information. SOLUTION: This image forming device which forms the image information on a specified medium is equipped with a receiving-extracting section, an information code storage section, and a judging section. In this case, the receiving-extracting section receives first image information, and at the same time, receives a first information code which is added to the first image information, and extracts the first information code from the first image information. The information code storage section stores the first information code. The judging section receives second image information by the receiving-extracting section, and at the same time, receives a second information code which is added to the second image information, extracts the second information code from the second image information, and judges whether the second information code agrees with the first information code being stored in the information code storage section or not. As a result of the judgement by the judging section, when the information codes do not agree, the second information code is stored in the information code storage section, and at the same time, the second image information is formed on the specified medium.
