PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool system having two machining portions, and capable of efficiently carrying out machining of three steps composed of front machining, back machining, and front machining. SOLUTION: The machine tool system comprises a machine tool 1 having two machining portions 4, 5 and a reversing devices 6, 7; a loader 2; and a system controlling device 3 controlling the machine tool 1 and the loader 2. The system controlling device 3 distributes machining divided into three steps composed of the first front machining, the back machining, and the second front machining to the two machining portions 4, 5. The system controlling device 3 controls the loader 2 so as to move work in order of the upstream side machining portion 4, an upstream side reversing device 6, the upstream side machining portion 4, a downstream side reversing device 7, and a downstream side machining portion 5. The system controlling device 3 may control the loader 2 so as to move the work W in order of the upstream side machining portion 4, the upstream side reversing device 6, the downstream side machining portion 5, the downstream side reversing device 7, and the downstream side machining portion 5.
