POWER CELL ARCHITECTURES AND CONTROL OF POWER GENERATOR ARRAYS
摘要
An array of power cells having three-dimensional geometric structures encompassing respective volumes include membranes with catalyst on each side. Cover(s) coupled to the membranes separate first flow paths from at least one second flow path at the membranes. Fuel and oxidant flow to the array of power cells in a parallel manner, and react with the catalyst to produce power. A control circuit may be extended to an array of power cells or array of banks of power cells to configure the cells or banks in series-row and column combinations to generate power in a selectable manner. The array can be produced on silicon wafers using high volume manufacturing techniques, and intelligence can be placed in chips, disks, or stacks with the array. The power cells can also act as electro-chemical reactors.
