摘要 <p>The invention relates to designing and producing large-sized light emitting diode screens for public use and for visually displaying text, graphical and video information. The inventive method for forming an image on a light emitting diode screen consists in forming a screen in the form of a light emitting diode matrix, dividing said matrix into full-colour dots, each of which consists at least of several multi-coloured light emitting diodes, connecting each light emitting diode to a power supply in such a way that a current running through each light emitting diode is individually modifiable and a light intensity of each light emitting diode is controllable in such a way that a visible colour spectrum is obtain, and in supplying to the matrix an image frame, whose fragment is reproducible on the screen by the corresponding full colour dot of the light emitting diode matrix. Each image frame is pre-resolved into four stored sub-frames, the first of which contains fragments reproducible by odd full-colour dots which are located along horizontal and vertical lines of the matrix, the second sub-frame contains fragments reproducible by even full-colour dots located along the vertical lines of the matrix and by the odd full-colour dots located along the horizontal lines thereof, the third sub-frame contains fragments reproducible by odd full-colour dots located along the horizontal lines of the matrix and by the even full-colour dots located along the vertical lines thereof and the fourth sub-frame contains fragments reproducible by even full-colour dots which are located along the matrix horizontal and vertical lines. Said method also consists in randomly and in time-sequentially supplying to the matrix the sub-frames, wherein one of them is unbiasedly applied to the matrix, the other is applied to the matrix in such a way that it is shifted to right at one vertical bar of the light emitting diodes, the third is applied to the matrix in such a way that it is downwardly shifted at one horizontal bar of the light emitting diodes and the fourth is applied to the matrix in such a way that it is shifted to right at one vertical bar and downwardly at one horizontal bar of the light emitting diodes.</p>
