PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroluminescence device capable of executing high-contrast display even in an environment where external light is present; and to provide an electronic apparatus with the electroluminescence device mounted thereon. SOLUTION: This organic EL device 1 is composed by sticking an element substrate having light emitting elements 70 arranged by corresponding to pixels 40 to a sealing substrate having red, green and blue color elements 34R, 34G and 34B arranged by corresponding to the pixels 40 through an adhesive 28. Since a dye is used as a material for coloring, each color element 34 is high in parallel line transmittance, and reflection light of the external light in each light emitting element 70 is hardly dispersed. Since a protective film 33 absorbing ultraviolet rays is arranged on a glass substrate 30, the color elements 34 can be protected from the ultraviolet rays. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
