PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed circuit board unit capable of comparatively simply improving mismatching of characteristic impedance. SOLUTION: A conductive pad 23 is formed on the surface of a printed circuit board 12. A coaxial cable 13 is provided with a center conductor 14 and a cylindrical conductor 15 surrounding the center conductor 14. The center conductor 14 is connected with the conductive pad 23. The center conductor 14 and the cylindrical conductor 15 are separated by an insulation layer 35. The insulation layer 35 is exposed at least partially around the center conductor 14. The insulation layer 35 is covered and coated by a conductive member 28. The conductive member 28 is connected with the cylindrical conductor 15. With such a printed circuit board 11, the conductive member 28 is able to perform the same function as the cylindrical conductor 15. As a result, mismatching of characteristic impedance can be improved at the coaxial cable 13. Occurrence of overshoot and undershoot is restrained at output waveforms of signals transmitted by the center conductor 14. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
