PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an operation for locally altering part of a route searched for easily and appropriately. SOLUTION: A route editing means 12 of a navigation controller 1 allows a display device 6 to display an intersection image indicating an intersection on a route searched for by a route search means 11 and a plurality of connected roads connected to the intersection in a magnified manner. When an input operation for selecting either one of the plurality of connected roads indicated by the intersection image is performed by a user, processing is performed for altering the route searched for by the route search means 11 into a route which diverges from the intersection indicated by the intersection image and passes through the connected route selected by the user.
