PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of mutually positioning two FPC (flexible printed circuit cable) efficiently and reliably. SOLUTION: In the method of mutually positioning two printed circuit boards 3, 5 when the two printed circuit boards 3, 5 are overlapped and interconnected; positioning marks 7, 11 not transmitting light passed through substrates 9, 13 of the two printed circuit boards 3, 5 are provided to mutually position the two circuit boards 3, 5 with respect to the substrates 9, 13 of the two circuit boards 3, 5; transmission light 15 is passed from one side of the two boards 3, 5 to the two boards 3, 5; and the first and second positioning marks 7, 11 are photographed at the other side of the two boards 3, 5 to thereby mutually position the marks 7, 11.
