PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and compact fixed type constant velocity universal joint capable of being easily assembled. SOLUTION: In this fixed type constant velocity universal joint, an outer sphere 22 of an inner ring 20 is cut in parallel with an axis in a part of an angular range in the circumferential direction, and an inner peripheral face of a cage 40 has a sphere portion positioned at an opening side of an outer ring mouth portion 10a at a round portion positioned between inner ring ball grooves not having the cut portion 23 of the inner ring outer sphere, and a cylindrical portion 46b positioned at a depth side of the outer ring mouth portion 46b and having an inner diameter larger than a diameter of an inner ring outer sphere, and has the spherical shape at a part excluding the above-mentioned range.
