PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce amount of consumed lubricating oil in a two-cycle internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: An intake port 3 opened and closed by a piston 1 itself is formed and opened on an internal wall face of a cylinder 2 letting the piston 1 reciprocate, and an exhaust valve 4 is provided in a top part of the cylinder 2. A porous member 6 allowing lubricating oil to penetrate into it is arranged in the intake port 3, and an oil separator 8 is provided in a halfway part of a pipe passage 15 for connecting a lubricating oil recovery chamber 7 in its rear part with an inlet side of a mechanical supercharger 5. The lubricating oil scraped off when the piston 1 lowers and entering the intake port 3 penetrates into the lubricating oil recovery chamber 7 through the porous member 6 together with the new air fed under pressure from the supercharger 5 while the intake port 3 is blocked and is recovered. Consequently, the amount of lubricating oil taken out into a combustion chamber 24 when the intake port 3 is opened next is reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
