PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable resin composition for a column spacer, capable of forming a column spacer excellent in height uniformity, a column spacer by using the curable resin for the column spacer and a liquid crystal-displaying element. SOLUTION: This curable resin composition used for the column spacer comprises (A) an alkali-soluble polymeric compound, (B) a compound having≥2 polymerizable unsaturated bonds in its molecule, (C) a photoreaction initiator and (D) a fluorine-based surfactant, wherein the fluorine-based surfactant (D) is a compound having a structure expressed by chemical formula (1) or (2).
