BASE ISOLATION DEVICE OF CARGO HANDLING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation device of a cargo handling machine capable of developing stable seismic control performance by a simple structure. SOLUTION: The base isolation device 50 comprises a cross linear bearing 54 installed between the pedestal 52 of the traveling part 30 of an unloader 10 and the base 21 of a leg part 20 and forming an X-Y table, a laminated rubber 56, and a shear pin 58. When a specified load is applied to the shear pin 58 by the vibration in an earthquake and the shear pin 58 is broken, an unloader body 12 is horizontally moved by the direct action of the cross linear bearing 54 of the base isolation device 50. The energy of the seismic movement is damped by damping the horizontal movement of the unloader body 12 by the laminated rubber 56.
